Apple QuickTime DRM Disables Video Editing Apps

Only appears to affect OS X, so I'm posting this here instead of a more generic forum.

Attempting to render video files after the update results in a DRM permissions error. Unfortunately, it is not possible to roll back to a previous version of QT without doing a full OSX reinstall. Previous QT updates have also been known to have severe issues with pro video editing apps.
Take heed, those updating QT on a Mac!

I didn't get time to visit their stand wearing my open-source clothing

They're also doing dodgy things with open source projects.
