AD Integrated Home Drive Connecting Issue
I have an OD-AD integration. The only thing not working is when students log on they get an error message (attached) which causes their home dive to show as a ? on the dock.
The home drive is taken from AD. When logging on to windows it works fine and maps but not on the Mac side.
Staff don't get this problem as their home drive maps fine from windows and mac sides.

Is this 10.9.x by any chance?
I got those sort of errors on 10.7 when the root folder didn't have Read permissions for Authenticated Users (i.e on the \\server\share path) - I don't get those errors on 10.9 but it still won't connect to the home folder.

It is 10.9.
Wouldn't that give students the access to snoop inside other users home folders?

Sorry - I should have been more specific. You add the read permissions to 'This Folder Only' for authenticated users - then they can only read the root folder, and I'm assuming your subfolders are like ours. I.e each subfolder is a users folder with their explicit permissions defined?
