    I've not had any significant problems with Mavericks, other than getting it installed as it's approx. 5GB in size, but thankfully that's when DiskMaker X comes in handy.

    Although Apple generally encourage users to upgrade, it's always better to wipe the computer and start again where necessary - as is exactly the case with Windows.

    Presumably all Macs which work with Mavericks will work with Yosemite? Or are there any specific requirements?
