Some weird characters appearing On MAC OS X 10.4.10

Hi folks, I am bit concerned with my Apple server.

Just recently I have used the keyboard and when I type on it, I am getting weird characters appearing and not the letters or numbers that are supposed to come out.

I have tried restarting the server but it hasn't helped.

I have checked keyboard and language settings and they all seem to be fine.

Have I pressed a key combination by mistake.

Any help would be great.

Have you tried a different keyboard? Could be that the command key is b0rken.
