    Workgroup Manager

Been looking at the options in our workgroup manager and we already have some Preferences set for a Users Group under to Login Items, there is a certain Preference I wish to set up Login Items for the Computers Group, will they both work together or will I need to copy the settings specified in the Users Group to the Computers Group. I am assuming they work like User and Computer GPO settings in AD.

I think from my experience it is either the User or the Mac (User will override the Mac's Dock).

Thank you for the reply Pashers, I see where you are coming from with the Mac's Dock, we have a preference set on the Workgroup Manage to pin it to the left hand side of the screen for the pupil accounts. Hopefully the User and Computer preferences will work in harmony with each other, can't see why they wouldn't.

Just had another thought, could you set the default profile with the correct com.apple.dock.plist (I think) settings. Then just add the computer Dock settings for the Macs with the "Merge with user's dock" option checked? So when a user first logs onto a mac they would get the default Dock correctly set?
