Interesting piece on El Reg here: Just who is Apple's most frustrated fanboi? Surprise
Basically, they have to make their own tools as Apple simply won't do anything for the enterprise space.
C'mon Google, release those tools for the oppressed masses of sysadmins out there. You need to build your karma!

CanHazImage sounds similar to AutoDMG and FileWave Lightning. Google released Cauliflower Vest early last year.
Walt Disney Animation Studios had to do the same. They created an open source tool called Reposado which enables you to setup a Software Update Service server on non-Apple hardware. It also had several features that Apple's own SUS lacks.
