Launchpad - Copy layout to all users upon login

    Hi Folks.

Anyone know if you can copy the launchpad layout to all users. I have found the .DB file related to launchpad but this only allows me to copy the layout to other macs and not all users.

If anyone knows the default layout location for launchpad I would be most grateful.

Delete all the non-local user folders from the Mac (assuming this won't lose your users any data).

Shift the SQLite database it into the relevant spot in the User Template folder on each Mac (/System/Library/User Template/English.lproj). Now when each user logs in, and their local folders are created, they'll get your customised Launchpad. (NB: you'll need some judicious use of chmod & sudo to accomplish this as the User Template folder is set to 700 perms, or enable your root account)

Or, if you can't remove the non-local user folders, do the above anyway to cover any new users, and then manually drop it in for existing users (script is thru ARD or similar)
