    The link to live webcam has the following url http://www.mylivewebcam.com/cgi-bin /topgirls/rankem.cgi?id=natti

    Our RBC blocked this as being a sex site.

    Phew! That was close.

    @Tom & j17sparky
    Thanks for the explanation. I can't remember ever having had inapropriate material on it. Got three kids @ home who would look very surprised finding me in such a pose..

    About the host, I really wouldn't know if such a thing happened. Thanks again and keep up the good work

    @networkgeezer
    I'll kill the link

    It's there just to get more traffic though

    Re: Proxy sites

    I have over 7000 Proxy sites, tend to block by IP address and url eg

    *.ctunnel.com & 208.53.131.176

    because its free to change the url name in a free DNS but it costs money (usually) to get a new IP address. If you just block by url it could change its name to *.ctunnel1.com or *.ctunnel2.com etc. but it still has the same IP.
    A very clever Student and myself have developed other filtering methods to block access, searches and downloads using ISA 2004. No where near fool(teacher)proof but it slows them down.
    I can add other filtering tips if requested and am willing to help other schools with filtering/blocking tips. *TIP* Proxy sites are a good source for VERY NASTY Spyware. In IE Security Disable unsigned ActiveX Downloads.
    :idea:

    Another site to add to the list

    www.ntunnel.com

    and while you are about it the following link points to a few others that might be worth adding

    Yawn, same-old, same-old

    Well, it is good to see there isnt a lot of innovation amongst proxy providers... means our large corporate competition are still missing the easy tricks makes life a bit easier for YT!

    Would it be hard to write a script which scraps proxies from proxy toplists?

    For web proxies, using lists is counter productive - use regexes to detect http proxies and ufdbguard to detect and block ssl ones.

    Surely it wouldnt be hard to write a script which would pull the html code of a proxy list and then remove everything except the links and add them to your internet filter and the script would run everyday.

    My220x,

    Getting proxies from a list is easy enough, the problem is that the lists don't cover *all* of the proxies therefore a system which targets the technology/code behind them would be far more productive.

    well many have the Glype, PHProxy or Zelune copyright so blocking that would be easy.

    People who make proxy sites aren't your average GPL following individuals who would leave the original text in situ...

    Mind you, a lot of the time they aren't the most intelligent people either.

    You'd be surprised at the muddy size-9 prints they do leave though.

    I reckon I could build "the unblockable"... but I also have plenty of blocking tricks in reserve!

    It doesn't cover all the proxies but if you took the top five proxy lists you would get most of them.
