    yourOS.com - filter workaround

youros.com is a mobile OS that you can setup your own Desktop etc, live chat, email, web browsing.

We found using Surfcontrol that it bypasses surfcontrol's filtering, and all the nice kiddies can get to the pron.

    Just a heads up

    Re: yourOS.com - filter workaround

YouOS. It's http://www.youos.com not YourOs. EyeOS looks similar though...

It's actually quite an interesting little toy to play with - entirely browser based OS which in theory retains its state, so you can work on something at home, roll into work and reconnect to carry on. Not sure about real world applications at the moment but the idea is pretty neat.

Excellent little toy but the inbuilt web browser doesn't bypass the RBC filter

    Re: yourOS.com - filter workaround

Tried this at work and it didn't get through the lea's filtering as it's just an http page if it were https then I would imagine it would go through all the filters.

    Espada:
seems to me that you don't really work at all but let the contractors do it for you. They can't seem to be able to setup a filter that will block this site but who knows they may have by the time you get back to work.

P.S see ya soon (take care who is watchin you)
