3rd December 2008, 09:41 AM #4 I got my last tyres from tyres online @ mytyres.co.uk: cheap passenger tyres, summer tyres, winter tyres and tyre dealer which was recommended by the seatcupra.net forums.
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetrics, lovely.
Also UK tyres online: Blackcircles.co.uk discount tyre specialist are competitve.
Golden Rule: Shop around
EDIT: What the hell is with that auto changing my post stuff! Ads tut.

I have bought all the tyres for my Prius from etyres, and also had a couple of free puncture repairs. Very impressed
I bought a front pair (Bridgestone Turanza ER30s) only last week, and they were £95-10 each compared with £92-10 from Black Circles and £97-40 from MyTyres. Although Black Circles were slightly cheaper, etyres come to you so you don't have to drive miles to the nearest depot and you don't have to hang around for an hour or so twiddling your thumbs. They can even arrange same-day fitting in an emergency.
Another useful thing about etyres is that if you get a puncture before becoming a customer, you can get the fifteen quid (plus VAT) repair cost back on your first order if you keep your receipt!

18th October 2009, 11:29 PM #6 Just ordered two tyres from etyres.co.uk for my wife's Mini. Couldn't be bothered to shop around but BMW told be they were £135 inc VAT etc. Am now paying £102 inc VAT.
As others have said the benefit being that they will come to me in school tomorrow hopefully (or Tuesday).
I'll let you know how I get on with them.

18th October 2009, 11:44 PM #7 Sadly they're not 40% cheaper than Black Circles.
I've used both eTyres and Black Circles and have to say I prefer the latter simply because they were cheaper for the tyres I selected and the garage I took my car to took less time than the eTyres bloke to fit them.

I agree. These are easily the best tyres I have ever had. Excellent in the wet and plenty of grip.
I'll definitely be getting some to replace the Pirelli P Zero Rosso's my current car came with.

19th October 2009, 08:41 AM #9 mytyres.co.uk or blackcircles for me. Incidentally the last garage I went to get them fit would ave been cheaper if I'd shipped to them then got them fit.

Will look at these two companies the next time but they were not listed here. I didn't bother searching.

BUmmer - blackcircles were cheaper but I would have to travel a few miles to the garage and I don't have time today. Best value today was etyres who are coming to the school.

19th October 2009, 11:00 AM #12 Next door neighbour manages a tyre fitting depot (will not mention which) so take mine there and he always gives me a good deal with tracking and balancing for free.

19th October 2009, 11:24 AM #13 Well it all changed today. I phoned etyres.co.uk because I had not received a phone call and was going into a meeting. They told me that the garage covering the SA area of South Wales had closed down a few months ago so they couldn't help me out.
A big black mark here - why had they not contacted me to tell me this? If I hadn't had phoned then I wouldn't have known (apart from nobody turning up)!
So a quick phone call to blackcircles.com and a visit to their website reveals the tyres at a sub £100 price. One order later and I'm booked in for Wednesday to have the tyres fitted. I suppose that is the only real issue with blackcircles.com - you have to book in so that the tyres are delivered.
So a £40 or so saving on each tyre. Cannot be bad can it?
