Default Free Amendable Academic Year Calendars

I usually knock these up using Publisher, but recently found this website.

Free Academic Year Calendar including Templates for Excel

These blank calendars have been useful for planning!

They're available as pdf, or they have templates in Excel.

For the Annual one, you simply need to specify the Year. the month you want to start with (useful for those who don't have Sept-July years!) and start day of the month (Sunday or Monday) and you're away. It's really neat!

I rapidly customised the annual one called academic-year-calendar-template to our school colours and logo and have put it in a read only area in StaffPublic$ so anyone can take a copy and use it.

    Tips:

    File > Page Setup
Set page boundaries to 1cm all round and centre on page vertically and horizontally
Set scaling to Fit to 1 page high by 1 tall

Use Format > column width to widen the Notes column to 30 (as A4 is wider than American letter paper, so it gives you more space!)

Just had a quick go at customising it. When Year 8 Month 9 is selected it says "December 01". Does it do this to you?

There seems to be a fault with one called academic-year-calendar that I couldn't be bothered to unpick

I customised the one called academic-year-calendar-template
