    Lightbulb Cheapest windows base license???

    I've just seen this for sale: Microsoft Windows Home Server 2011 64Bit English 1pk CD/DVD OEM (CCQ-00128) - dabs.com
(Microsoft Windows Home Server 2011 64Bit English 1pk CD/DVD OEM Mfr#: CCQ-00128) - it's only £33 which is the cheapest Windows license I've seen for some time.

Short version: Can I use this to license a PC under EES?

Long Version: EES gives us *upgrade* licenses for all our PCs to Windows 7 (or XP)* but there has to be a "base" (OEM, retail etc.) license to upgrade from - you can't just buy a PC with no OS license and use it under EES. I'm just wondering if the above product can be used as a base license.

Hmmm I'm not sure either which is why I posted here... if it is allowed it could save hundreds when we replace a computer room this summer...

Would you not be better off purchasing PCs with OEM licenses on from someone like Dell?
