I have recently joined a school and it is my responsibility to ensure that we have enough licenses for all our computers etc.

I was wondering if there was a way that I can check to see how many licenses we currently have for Server 2003 and how it works.

For example, if I were to buy two more computers then how would I know that we have enough licenses for these computers? The bursar seems to think that we need to get more licenses but I do not know who holds our licenses - nobody here seems to know how many we have or the contact details of a company who may be able to help me (previously I have used Rameseys at other schools).

Can I check on the server how many CALs we have? And does it work in the same way for Exchange?
