Microsoft Licensing for Educational Virtual Desktop/Lab deployment
In the corporate world if you deploy VDI, you need to licenses each endpoint connecting under something called VDA.
Students may have several computers they can access remote in a "lab scenario"; depending on what the technology subject is.
I am wondering how licensing in the education system works in regards to virtual desktop/lab deployment where students are able to connect from anywhere.
Have a great day!

It works in the same way as in the corporate world. The only difference is that the licensing is considerably cheaper than the select licensing charged to corporates clients. When I came into education seven years ago from the corporate world, the discount was approximately 75% less!
For every VDI PC you will need a WinVECDforSA SNGL SubsVL MVL PerDvc which is on an annual license fee.
