    Technet Plus - Licence Keys?

I have been thinking of personally buying myself a Technet Plus subscription. I would get the school to buy one but they are tighter than a duck's arse when it comes to buying anything us technicians need/want.

Anyway, I was just wondering how the licence keys work. Are you issued a limited number of key(s) per product, or can you just generate an unlimited amount of keys as you need them?

There are some that are volume style, but generally you get a specific number. For me it is 10 per product for most things. More than enough to cover all my testing needs.

Mmmm well I will only want the individual user subscription, as I will be paying for it myself.

But yeah, 10 would be fine for my testing needs!!!

Yes to both. The only thing I am unhappy with is that it does not have mac business apps in there ... so no office 2008 available to test (important for testing into exchange etc)

Yes Technet gives you access to practically all MS software that is not dev tools like Visual Studio or Expression. It also includes the back catalog of software like exchange 2003 and old versions of Windows so that you can test with them as well. Most stuff that required a key let you generate up to 10 as you needed them for testing purposes. It can be very handy when your only Exchange 2003 CD goes missing and you need it to decommision an old server gracefully. Volume Liscencing stopped carrying it for download a while ago.

Thannks GrumbleDook and SYNACK.. Food for thought. I take it the only difference between TN and TN+ is the physical media Vs download options ?

Thats right, its just whether they send you the media or not. If you want the dev stuff to then you would be after an MSDN subscription aswell.
