I struggled to find this info. Basically these keys make your pc's/server activate from your KMS server, you could need these if you were switched from MAK to KMS and want to move the MAC clients to the KMS server. Just change the product key in System and it should try to find your KMS server.

Yeh I just had the pain of finding them all on MS's site and I thought I would save everyone time hopefully.

17th May 2010, 10:19 PM #4 Which means if you want to convert a machine that has a MAK key into one that uses a KMS server, you do this:
cscript slmgr.vbs /ipk FJ82H-XT6CR-J8D7P-XQJJ2-GPDD4
for Windows 7 Pro, change the codes for whatever you're using...
.. typical this, I spent ages last week trying to work out how to do it, and some bugger comes along and writes up after I found out.. This Volume Activation Deployment Guide being the original page.
