I am currently looking at setting up access to school for staff from home. I have been looking and I assume that ISA server will allow me to do this. But what I need to know is what else would be required regarding licencing. Are there any other licences we would need? Just trying to work it out as I have a meeting with the Head tomorrow morning. We are only looking to allow 25 staff access, mainly for access to network and access to the authority citrix/sims solution through the web.
Thanks

25th January 2010, 12:40 PM #2 If you are using Server 2008 R2 you may need to use Forefront IAG instead as I don't think ISA 2006 runs on 64bit.
I can't find anything about the liscencing but as it is a feature of Server 2008/3 then as you are accessing the server you may need CALs for each user that connects. If you have user CALs already this should already be covered.

25th January 2010, 12:56 PM #4 We use something called SSL explorer, runs on a linux box, it runs from a web browser and creates SSL tunnels and connects people remotely to a pc inside the school. its free i would def recommend it as it works a treat, we use it for the kids to access documents etc from home as well.
