    VHF lisencing

    Does anyone know if i will need lisences for 4 VHF frequencies or if OFCOM/JFMG are planning for them to be lisenced in the future (i know UHF are changing in 2012), my frequencies are;

    173.0,
    173.8,
    174.5,
    175.0.

    I'm not aware of any plans to change the VHF frequencies or licensing situation.

    This thread on JFMG's website seems to concur.

    Indeed. I know i should go for UHF but havent got the £££ if they'll be useless in two years.

    Have a look on this site or give them a ring.

    JFMG Radio spectrum for programme making and entertainment

    They sorted my UHF licencing problems out for me.
