Server 2012 Data Center - EES cost

    Hi all

I was wondering if anyone would mind sharing rough pricing for Windows Server 2012 Datacenter when it's take out on an EES agreement?

I'm just trying to get an idea for next year whether it's worth lumping the servers onto the EES agreement or just leaving off and purchasing on Select still?

    Cheers

Had quotes in the last week and I'm sure it's approx £178

    Great cheers.

So over 4 years it does work out slightly cheaper, but not a huge ammount. Another advantage I suppose is it spreads the cost rather then an upfront purchase.

    Thanks again.

With Datacenter edition you need to buy one for each physical host, you can then run as many VM's as you like.

Thanks glennda, I realised that it was just to try and get an idea for my costings for next year whether it's more beneficial to buy the Datacenter licences under select or under the EES. At £768 per 2 processor licence under select, the per year cost difference is about £20 in favour of the EES agreement which was what I was after.
