Hi Guys,
My head has recently purchased and iPad and now wants to access shares (and save ) and print if possible?
I've tested FileBrowser - as per some other threads on this forum but there is a complicated way of opening .docs and then having to email them back to yourself to save back on the network??
I was wondering what everyone else is doing?
Thanks!

I am presently using a mac acting as a airprint server using 'AirprintActivator' to print to all network printers from our IPads.

I like the idea of using WebDAV, don't suppose anyone has any tutorials for the iPad setup of webdav?
from a security perspective I very much like the idea of A terminal server or VNC app BUT we're only a small Primary and don't have the setup for this.....yet

Will be trying a terminal server type solution for our 20 iPads over half term, will post if I have any success.
I did set up file browser first of all but found it wasn't very useful. It's ok for giving students resources to look at, but thats about it. We also have a single ipad@ email address set up on them all so they can at least send attachments to and from them quickly if needed.
does anyone have a slick solution to getting videos off the iPads appart from 'syncing with itunes' when the device is connected? Its quite time consuming at the moment.

I'd definately recommend setting up a joint email address for your iPads as a quick (and free) solution. For those 'it needs to be done now' classroom situations. Plus you can always monitor the mailbox from your desk.
