Well, I had a successful meeting with my SLT yesterday where we agreed we need to recruit someone to work on the network side of things with me.

So a network technician role will be being advertised in Torquay in the coming months (once it's gone through all the red tape here).

Also looking into Ruckus to replace current wireless system thanks to Chris at CP-Ltd

We used to have 9 techs and over past 4 years that went down to 2 and up to 3 as we took on an apprentice, currently very little time to develop new systems and update existing. Ticking timebomb comes to mind.

We have around 8 servers that are almost 7 years old on smaller sites that are in dire need of replacing too.

Also been asked to look into look into BYOD hence the new wireless, this will be a right mare as will have to change lots on network.

We chose to automate almost everything we could out of necessity, you name it we automated it.

Well there is me.. and there is me..

    400 PC's, 900 users

I find this is sustainable, but I am 6 months behind on server and win 7 migration..

If I talk to myself, does it count as a second tech ?
