Hi,
Can someone explain a few things to me...
GPO Software installation. I know this happens during windows starting up. I take it this can take a while. I was just installing Microsoft World Wide Telescope and it took half an hour to do the installing blah blah bit. So then it went to the log on the screen, i tried logging in as a student but it hung on applying computer settings.....so is it doing more installing?
Because i wasnt sure (this is my first GPO install) and the teacher was moaning i rebooted the computer. Logged on as admin and it was there. Clicked the icon and it said that system had already started the installation and that mine would continue, and then it gives me a choice to cancel the installation and start again or leave it...

It could be at start up, logon, or assigned to be installed manually depending upon how it's allocated.
Check the event logs on the affected machine and you'll see application installer stuff which should when finished show a successful message (or failure).
Did you make the MSI yourself or was it a precreated one?

It was a premade MS one....will check the event log....so am i missing something to make it auto?
