I'm having problems burning the iso to disk. Everytime I try and do it in Roxio it tells me its an invalid format  I have also tried copying it on my mac but have had the same problem.

Is the image good, did it come with an Md5 checksum if so run it to see if its okay.
There is no Md5 checksum in the zip files that people are hosting.
The MD5 checksum for the file extracted from my copy of the zip file is :
662991b1936897d1332e43824e40dc9e *MSLNM.iso
HTH
I'm just in the process of downloading again.
The checksum matches but when I try and burn it I keep getting to that it is not a valid disc image.
Have you checked you can actually burn ISO files with your version of Roxio and not just whatever their proprietary image format is?
Try BurnAtOnce - freeware simple ISO burner, works happily here.
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cd...burnatonce.cfm
Download a trial version of Nero this will burn ISO images, do not know much about Roxio software and ISO images.
Hmm, no edit button?
Hold fire on BurnAtOnce - sure I burned my copy using it but just burned an extra to make sure and it doesn't seem too happy. I'll have to check it wasn't just an iffy burn.
I've just tried to do it with K3b on my laptop and I still get the same message.

IIRC I had the same problem with K3B - I put it down to microsofts inability to implement open standards such as iso9660. Along with the other comments about LNM it managed to put me off trying any further
In linux (or unix) (if you have it, i assume you do if running k3b), use the file utility on it (open a terminal and run "file nameofiso.iso") paste the output here![]()
Code:rshortland@Netadmin:~$ file MSLNM.iso MSLNM.iso: data
yeah, that isnt an iso file.
just out of curiosity, run "strings -n 5 nameofiso.iso|head"
