Picture in the background? lol
Picture in the background of the sausages with father at the bottom.
Its good humour.
If you look at virtually all of the cartoons even more so in the later Disney / Pixar movies they all have some underline adult humour, think link sums it up, Adult Humor - Pixar Wiki - Disney Pixar Animation Studios
I'll use the first one as an example from Toy Story, "One of Sid's toys, a fishing rod with Barbie legs, is a hooker."
@DaveP, you are forgetting that when films like this were made, thing were a lot differant. For a start you can almost guarantee that any child growing up in a rural area (in the US and Europe) would have hands on experience with slaughtering and preparing foodstuffs from animals, and the kind of anthropomorphism that takes place today with animals was simply not something that occured to livestock. Pigs were there to make bacon, pork chops and sausages. Not to heard sheep in fluffy movies. It's not bad taste, mearly a reflection of the time the cartoon was created.
*Boy, do I ever want a sausage sarnie right now!
In Shrek you see Mummy bear and baby bear, then later you see Daddy bear as a rug on the kings floor.
learnt a new word today. thanks
There's a Popeye cartoon which has a sign "Seymour Hall" in the background. This is a two part joke; the obvious one and a reference to the director Seymour Kneitel.
Didnt they have undertones?
If you look hard enough they all have something.
there was an episode of rainbow that the cast made as a joke that didnt get aired
