Is this a real lift trick?
-
-
I know that this works if the lift is under fire control. Except that you have to continue to hold the floor button until the floor then hold the open door button.
-
I don't recall seeing the close doors button in a lift for years.
-
every lift I've ever used had a close doors button.
-
I can see people getting in trouble at the EduGeek Conference!
-
my workplace has only got 2 floors so it'll work here :)
-
tried and tested at my friends block of flats this morning, works a charm
-
Had anyone else called for the lift at any other floors though?

I have seen missing floors before, its usually because that particular lift cant access the floor even though it exists due to the way the building is laid out.

I've also read it's quite common (though not in this case) for the 13th floor to be missed all together purely based on superstition (i.e. you'd have floor 10 - 11 - 12 - 14 -15 - 16 etc.)
