yes that clip was on channel 4 program while back
it was made for comp a theme tv i think it went along lines of every year tv progs entered an internal comp to of best outtakes...
but what rainbow people did was make one specialy for it

Apparently it was done (never broadcast) as an in-competition between various childrens tv shows to see who could make the most 'adult' version of a show whilst still aiming it at children. The Rainbow cast never saw he finished version.
