    If I type that in i get the following The Shire, London, UK to Two Towers - Google Maps apparently it takes 56 mins

    You have to specify that you want walking direction by clicking on the 'walking man' to the right of the 'car' and 'bus/train' icons



    You will then get the warning about the route you have 'chosen'
