@john - have to agree that the old Skool style is much better - as much of a lover of Win7 I am - the new UI just doesn't have quite the same effect in this instance..

But what version of notepad is it in the original pic?

Notepad running in 2000 seems to have the notepad icon opening to the left but also looks to have a small black line on it so it looks like it is probably xp running classic desktop?

Pfft - can't believe you lot falling all over yourselves over such an inaccurate depiction. That's clearly Notepad++ colours running in a Notepad window. Completely unrealistic! And you call yourselves geeks.

Seriously, though - that's pretty awesome...

It's the scale, the old school one it to scale and better framed, the 7 version is not. If they were at the same scale the 7 one would look better.

I must admit that the first thing I thought when seeing the initial one was that 'that business card needs to be upgraded'

    How about good ol' BASIC?

    Code:
    10 PRINT "Business Card"
    20 PRINT ""
    30 PRINT "Name: XXXXXXX"
    40 PRINT "Title: XXXXXXXX"
50 PRINT "Phone: XXX XXX XXX"
    60 PRINT "Email: XXX.XXX@XXXXX.COM"
    70 PRINT "Link: http://www.somewhere.com"
(Sorry dont have access to nice flashy apps like Photoshop or GIMP here....)
