@pete:

Do they still have the flower carnivals there?![]()

Pure comedy gold! Ahahahahahaha!!!!!![]()

Does anyone know what that advice was?See Tuesday’s Lincolnshire Free Press for the amazing quote Ford told the arresting officer and the advice the judge gave Ford should the situation ever arise again

Where did the £15 victim support money go?
Ahh I'm so proud of my town@bossman we still have the flower parade, although more recently each one has been "the last!!". Just an excuse to go out and get bladdered really!
They posted an updated article with his quote which is pretty funny.

EVEN though the main victim in this case was a dead hedgehog, all fines for criminal offences carry an additional £15 victim surcharge.
Money is paid into a fund aimed at improving services for victims of crime. It was introduced in 2004 to “rebalance” the criminal justice system in favour of victims.

@tommej:
My first boss came from Spalding a man called Keith Preston who I would like to contact again but have no address or even if he is still alive, he was not only my boss but a great friend, after I left the textile industry to pastures new we kept in touch but then he moved again and we lost touch over 30 years ago.
He used to tell me of the great flower carnivals in Spalding to which they are quite famous, never been of course.![]()
They were very good a few year back. Been getting worse for years though.
My mums worked at the bank for over 30 years, I'll ask if she's heard the name. You never know![]()
Made my day. Pure comic genius. Maybe the hedgehog was taunting him.

The comments are great!!! Like this one..
very risky thing to do, imagine if he'd toppled backwards and his bare backside landing on all those spines and having to go to hospital for treatment
