    Thanks Dos_box

This is so freaky, i was only just telling a colleague about how my son and I spotted 3 planes flying very close to one another during Sunday afternoon. I was convinced they were miltary only because they looked so close, and the one at the back overtook the others...

After looking at this website, there were there just as we saw them!

If interested, use the replay option on the website, select Manchester Airport and use Sunday 11th April 2010 @ 14:04 hours. you will see 3 aircraft just NE of Manchester (KLM17, KLM31 & ELY007), as they fly towards the Sefton coastline, one clearly overtakes the other. About 2000ft between each plane!

I could watch that all day. Bad discovery for a quiet afternoon alone in the holidays.

There's some strange ones though. I'm just watching United Airlines flight UA931 from San Fransisco to Los Angeles fly over Lancashire.

There's something similar for shipping here.

Really cool site. Thanks for the link.

Why do the planes go grey and then disappear? I was tracking one and it disappeared. A page refresh brought it back only for it to go grey and disappear again?

Brilliant - I'd seen similar sites before which only dealt with aircraft in the US. I've never seen anything which covered the UK. It's a pity that it only covers a limited number of airports. I'll keep an eye on it and hope that it's developed to include more.

Neither RadarVirtual or Flightradar24 are loading for me now. I reckon there is more to all this than meets the eye! Impending doom and the government is restricting what information we can have access to as the only planes flying over the UK are military, sent up to greet spaceships hurtling towards Earth!

    Conspiracy, what conspiracy?!

It's happened already. Some bloke with funny ears just stepped out and made a hand gesture and said "Live long and prosper"

    John Redwood I think.
