It's not so much lists I hate, I love reading lists, some are fun... I hate reading lists that are say 50 things long (*cough* ) and almost feel as though at least 1/4 are just filler things that don't actually really matter, but the person couldn't think of anything decent to put in, or pick a smaller number for more of an impact.
1) They let the riff-raff in.

Am i right in thinking this was primarily an IE6 problem.

To be honest though, it's not very often that you should be printing web pages as a whole, rather copy and paste the relevant information out into a word / notepad etc document and print that.
Sites that are usefull to print, such as technet articles, generally have a print view option anyway

actually, i do print web pages fairly often. Obviously the copy and paste method works better if the oriignal page is going to end up printing across 7 or 8 sheets, but for convenience i do like to print a webpage or two now and again.This was improved with IE7 onwards, but there will still be the odd website that will not print properly.
