Lol that's ace. When I go to India and travel around they usually do that sort of thing in a rusty overloaded bus with failing brakes on a mountain road in the pouring rain. The driver usually has the radio playing full blast so he can't hear the passengers screaming. I guess it's kind of distracting otherwise...

It has to be asked though, why he had to turn around? Why not just back it up, or would that have been too easy?

India is on my 'want to go there' list. Problem I have is the 'getting in a plane' to get there issue. Maybe one day when my testicles are bigger I'll manage it. Last place I did manage to fly to was Gibraltar - I had half a bottle of vodka before I even got on the plane !! [ And this was for my last job !! ]

I once had a panic attack on a 747 coming back from the states. Not very nice.

I have had an emergency landing at heathrow airport a few years back. That was pretty scary.

We had an emergency landing coming in to land at Bangkok - a really bumpy bouncy down the runway affair - it took Mrs.Tech_Guy a long time to be happy about flying after that one.
