    A friend of mine kept getting his garden light nicked. He wired them up to an electric fence unit and a couple of nights later heard someone swearing after getting zapped in the front yard

    It wouldnt work though as the cylinders insulated with the foam so the copper is all hidden so I don't think it would work at all.
