awesome how they done that, looks like its mostly in javascript too!

workbench even drops down if you click on the top and you can even type commands in the cli window just like it used to be. A1200/600 workbench was prettier though but never did get that hard disk for mine, the noise of the floppy was nice though!

    Another world was awesome

Mind you lots was.. used to buy lots of 'PD' with cool demos.. aaah fond memorys

another cool thing from the 80s not like that anymore

Used to have a great PD house locally, 17-bit software - anyone remember them? Little room above a shop down a side street, bank of A500s copying disks.

The games company they begat (Team17) are still going, one of my old housemates is a lead designer. Working on a console verion of Alien Breed which will be a top-down shooter like the original! Think its gonna be xbox download sorta game.

Oh yes, I well remember 17-bit PD and Team 17 (for a short period Team 7 when Full Contact was released). Hours of fun was had playing Worms. In fact you can obtain disk images for their games for use on UAE from the Dream17 fansite

ISTR it worked if you had an extra 512k of Chip RAM as well - used to confuse folk that, but everyon'es used to quoting RAM on gfx cards 20 years on
