What's the difference... they're just different shaped computers!
(Maybe engineers' lack of belief is because I'm female

11th September 2008, 02:51 PM #19 When my old microwaves keypad died, I took it apart and then made a new one out of a maplins black plastic box, a grid of 12 push switches and the devils own wiring at the back (there were only 4 wires to address the 12 switches, think along the lines of a hard wired, 4 bit binary input. All were individually wired, looked like spaghetti. I wish I still had a photo.

You Know You've Been An ICT Tech' Too Long When... you can write end-user documentation cynically and still have it be acceptable for distribution to staff/students

You Know You've Been An ICT Tech' Too Long When... you can talk a user through 10 or more levels of Windows/Software configuration dialogue boxes over the phone from memory.

6th August 2010, 11:19 PM #22 You know you've been in ICT Tech' too long when... not only do you have the keycodes to every software title ever released, but you have every special screwdriver and every type of cabinet/rack/server/disk box key in your tool box!
