@russ was tempted, but my own self preservation instinct kicked in.. worrying thing was that when we passed on the shortlist of candidates, they put the rejected applicants underneath, so govn'r then looked through them all and shortlisted mr shotgun!!
reason? the CRB letter wasn't sent on with the applications...
By time we realised the interview letters were written and awaiting postage!!
