    Fifty years ago today

This was released 50 years ago. It's one of my favourite films, full of holes (no pun intended) but still great. I was in the same Corp. as the Stanley Baxter character John Chard and I have also visited the film location several time. I've not made the actual site.... yet.

    Zulu!

"Well, they've got a very good Bass Section mind you...but no Top Tenors that's for sure."

Pity the British troops were actually from the 2nd Warwickshire Regiment rather than the Royal Welsh which spoils it somewhat ...... but that is being pedantic!!!

There was a film about what leads up to it too.. can't remember the name. Just remember all the ruperts having dinner served to them as their men perished a mile away
