[Faked?] A Camera Falls From A Plane And Lands In A Pig Pen

    YouTube video description:

Camera falls from a sky diving airplane and lands on my property in my pig pen.

I found the camera 8 months later and viewed this video.

As the camera falls, why near the end do you see the sky in the middle and the ground top and bottom of the screen? It's as if it's a single image that is edited to look like the TV flicker effect of images flowing down.
Also when it lands, to say it lands in mud there appears to be no splatter, and the camera sits high up in the mud. I'd have thought with that drop it would have gone in a bit further (giggity) or if the mud was more solid would have cracked the lens?

Brick Top [Snatch] on the subject of disposing of a body using pigs:

...They will go through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, "as greedy as a pig"...

I live on a pig farm
Although there are only two sows and one litter of piglets at the moment, in a handful of months you would all do well to be wary of upsetting me :P

Not sure about the effect part, I assume it was the lens trying to focus and warps as it reaches the bottom (Watch the last few seconds before it hits the ground).

As for the lens, I assume it's a go pro. In which case, I'm not surprised it was still going.

That rolling image effect is what happens when a camera spins at such speed that it manages to complete a [nearly] complete rotation between frames - you can see a similar effect if you look at the wheels of cars on video (or even IRL if they're going just the right speed) - they appear to stop spinning or look like they're spinning very slowly. It's an illusion due to the limited number of images our eye/the camera can capture in a second

As for the lack of a splash, it's a pretty sunny day, maybe the mud had firmed up but remained soft enough to cushion the fall? As @Bradlys said, it's probably a GoPro which are tough little things to break!
