I's a shame they couldn't fit any of the very old lanes in our towns that began with the word 'Grope' in there. I think all have been renamed now and there is even a Wikipedia page on them!
Interestingly they have mostly renamed to things like 'Grape Lane' and 'Union Lane'.
BTW, this is true and I'm not being smutty here. It's an interesting part of our history

We have the Piddle Valley down here in Dorset, which has such gems as Piddlehinton and Piddletrenthide around it, but also Puddletown, which was renamed when Queen Victoria visited the area lest it offend her!

I drive past Labour-in-Vain Drove every morning, in Billinghay, Lincs. Bit depressing!

Did anyone else see the Comic Relief thing a few years back, where the cast of The Inbetweeners went on a tour of rude place names? I think those were towns/villages, not streets though.

I have a few by me (Brum)

    Bell End
Whores Lane (Both of which was seen on the Inbetweeners red nose trip to find rude place names)
and i saw the other day, "WhyNot Avenue", made me chuckle.
