    I've made suits of 4-in-one chainmail for toddlers before

    I think that sprung steel links would be a bit heavy for your cat though.. and of course, it does nothing to lessen blunt trauma.. that's what your Gambeson is for

    Yup nicely padded gambeson under some plate around the Thorax would be awesome. Although I'm giving thought to the Samurai style of using the ceramic plates instead of steel - it's lighter and cooler in the sun.

    Is it wrong that mental images of Enzo and Rocket (our Rabbit) in plate armour are making me want to build something out of cardboard and Paper Mache cos-play style? XD I've been sitting here giggling over the WoW-style helm and shoulder ornamentation for the last 5 mins.
