Radio Times On Doctor Who: Would Star Trek's William Shatner Make A Good Master?

Link: Doctor Who: would Star Trek's William Shatner make a good Master? | Radio Times

The Radio Times has a poll running on this. I will add a poll to this thread to see what Edugeek makes of this idea.

    Thumbs up

What! How could anyone vote no to this!?
Shatner is a legend and would be awesome as The Master!

I must say I am surprised at how closely the Radio Times poll matches the Edugeek poll.

Current standings [at the time of this post]

    Radio Times:

    Edugeek:

[Don't know how many have voted in the Radio Times poll]

I had expected an overwhelming 'NO!'

With Captain Kirk is all I can imagine when Shatner is delivering scripted lines is major... pauses... between... some... words... before picking up to normal speed at the end of the sentence.

I voted Yes but I suspect the Dr Who director would vote No. The scenes would take forever to film.
