Email DNS problem
Hi,
We are havin problems sending email outbound using Exchange 2003.
Incidentally we're also having internet issues and have set ISA 2004 to use an old Upstream address.
If upstream set to what it's meant to be then outbound email and internet access doesn't work, inbound email does.
If upstream set to old address then outbound email doesn't work but internet access and inbound email does.
If I look on the SMTP Virtual Server queues I get a message saying 'Unable to bind to the destination server in DNS'.
When I look that problem up I get told to remove the DNS entries that are in there in which case the error message changes to 'SMTP could not connect to any DNS server'.
Now we did have new internal DNS servers setup but I've been told the two won't be related as all internal things work fine.
I've asked the ISP and they are looking into it.
