Hi everybody ... this is probably very basic but I cannot see our new moodle server from outside the SWGFL !! Its the first time Ive played with this so any advice appreciated !!
I've asked for a new rule from the SWGFL and they have sent back ;;; public IP 46.60.246.0 resolves down to our servers fixed ip 10.140.207.196. Port 80
I can fire up IE and put in http://10.14.207.196/moodle in school and moodle comes up OK ... I try http://46.60.246.0/moodle from home and nothing !!
Thanks in advance ...

26th March 2012, 10:25 AM #2 Try the DNS name instead, since SWGFL are unlikely to have given you your very own IP. They'll probably be proxying traffic to internal hosts based on the incoming request.
i.e moodle.school.region.sch.uk > your internal moodle server
