chrome + ISA 2006

Ive just noticed students can download and run google chrome, but how?

we have isa 2006 proxy that denies .jar .exe and .msi

yet when they goto Google and click the "get chrome" it downloads and installs?

Fairly sure it's a HTTPS connection. You'll need some form of inspection to "see" the path and hence the extension.

Alternatively, you might have one of the google domains set as an allow by mistake?

It installs becuase it installs to the profile.

My hack way around was to setup chrome.exe and firefox.exe are things to be removed by Anti-virus
