    Joomla Site Errors! Please Help!

    Firstly if you view these URLs firstly in Firefox or Chrome, you will see what they are supposed to look like - then view them in Internet Explorer....

    After taking a bit of time to load( damn net)

    they all looked ok to me in IE8 , only Gems nails was a bit faulty

    You've got some text above the 'doctype' tag in the first three sites. This will put browsers into 'quirks mode', which can have unpredictable results.
    Try moving <!DOCTYPE html... up to the very first line.
    Having content outside the <html> tags is generally a bad idea, as different browsers handle it differently resulting in an inconsistent look accross different browsers.
    ohalcock.com looks fine to me.
