Adding Advanced Proxy & URL filter to IPCop

    Hi guys,

Could you please help me with adding these (Advanced Proxy & URL filter) two add-on to IPCop 2.0.
I tried all the methods such as using WinSCP and PuTTY. but none of them worked out. I have already spend more than 2 weeks on this matter. May be because of my poor knowledge in Linux that Iím struggling. If anyone can advice me on how to add these two, step by step would save my life. Please help me out.

Thanks in advance to all of you..!

The advanced proxy and URL filter web pages suggest they are for 1.4.x only.

Seems advanced proxy facility is built into ipcop 2.0 and Cop+ can provide functionality similar to URL filter:

ipcop support • View topic - Ipcop v2.0

ipcop support • View topic - urlfilter

Thanks andy_b for your reply. But i want to find a way to add those add-on regardless of the version. say i re-install IPCop 1.4.x . If so how can I add these two; I am mainly looking for a proper web-filter like URL filter. Any help will be highly appreciate.
