Interbet bombing out!

Help!

Internal networking all seems fine but the internet access keeps dropping out every couple of minutes or so. Using Colasoft Caps 7 Free I can see the traffic on the network but nothing seems too excessive at all!

Any ideas/pointers?

Just on the blower now to get them checking there end.

Also, although everythng else appears to be working well apart from the internet, I have just noticed that I'm getting intermittent connection issues to the web interface of the RM Smartcache box too!

Can this be detected using a Traffic Monitor?

yes you would see packets dropped, or a ping request fail, or I think also a lot of broadcast of "ARPs" - (Address Resolution Protocol) from the same switch.
Best bet to do a visual check on your switches checking if any of the switches go from yellow to green back and forth.

Hi there,

It looks like it's the RM Smartcache box having fits and RM have been investigating the issue today. Luckily it's half term now and will hopefully be sorted early next week.
