I didnt get it btw They thanked me for my progress and wish me the best but they feel the other guy was more suited, however they are impressed by my CV and will look to fit me in elsewhere as I appear to be a good fit for the company.
Oh, that's such a shame
I hope they do really find something for you.
Wow...just checked my emails...I applied for a job at Facebook, lost out, but they just come back to me asking if I can do a test for them again!
good news. Lets hope its second time lucky
Good luck! Hope it goes well.
At least you know you must have been a good applicant the first time
Good luck Just read through this thread.
Wow! That's so exciting. I remember how excited I was when the HR people at Smoothwall phoned and said 'About your application, we want to interview you!' I'm on the edge of my seat for you, having read about all the issues you've had in the last year. I know how it feels to be in a bad place then to get an interview at a great company - it brightens the whole world! Hope it goes well for you this time :-) They must be keen on you to pull you back in 2 months after your first application - usually the 'We'll keep you on file and let you know if we have anything suitable' is their guilt-free way of saying 'nah, we didn't want you, but don't want you to sue us either', but in this case you must have made an impression! And for the head honcho to personally contact an applicant shows real commitment to the employee experience! Best of luck!
Good luck sir!
Well that fizzled out to be a big nothing, they just wanted to be sure I could still do the work asked, as they have seen on my profile I am looking to go into construction / gardening.
Speaking of which, I have an interview for a gardening company, which offers more hours and pay than job seekers, so its all good
Well thats bizarre.... If they aren't going to find you a position, why bother checking if you can still do it? Unless they really are trying to find a position for you.... But even so, you can't wait in limbo forever :-S
Never mind, though, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
