What TLDS do you block by default?

    Hi
We have started blocking some TLDs due to the largely crud porn/spyware/viruses they are slipping through and I just wondered what TLD's if any do you all block?
    We are blocking:
    Code:
    .ru
    .tk
    .cn
    .in
    .pl
    .cc
Sites that are fine will be whitelisted (useful to add if you find any)

Seems a little harsh. I own several .info sites, all legit. There are a large number of .com proxies, as well as .net etc...

We don't block any TLD's by default here. Not seen any reason to as yet for us.

We didnt have to many issues. Anything that wasnt a proxy we would let through.

At the time laods where coming from .info - It doesnt seem to happen as much anymore.

Obviously whitelisting/allowing is possible. We didnt do any tld blocking until now when tons of viruses etc started turning up for tlds which staff generally never use/need. They were just clicking google results. Its not fool proof but it will definitely help us.

Pretty much every conceivable foreign website TLD, and whitelist those that teachers ask for, which isn't many and very rarely. You will find alot of game sites in foreign languages with a non-english word for "game" (which we block) allowing them to bypass it.

Nothing looks more amateurish and offputting to me than a .biz address. 90% of them seem to be used for "earn 70k a year from the comfort of your living room!" jobbies.
