If you mean the suggestions that appear in the dropdown while you are typing into the search box, I think the URL is http://clients1.google.com/complete/search

It's in the search settings... at the bottom under Autocomplete: "Do not provide query predictions in the search box", so the only URL that would help is that of the settings:
http: //www. google.co.uk/preferences?hl=en&prev=http://www.google.co.uk/ig%3Fhl%3Den
(spaces introduced to stop it resolving the link)

I too need to block this or something like. we use a mandatory profile, I tried running it in the profile. but it seems machine specific. or I may be wrong. any one know the registry key it changes when you turn the thing off? Kids can search for all manner of stuff when they put in "Childsname is"!!

There is a way to block it at the proxy, i have done it in the past.

Firefox uses this URL for suggestions...
http://suggestqueries.google.com/
Edit. I think you may need to block http://www.google.com/s?
